Every one of the staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable!! The rooms are good and everything is clean. Rates are reasonable for rooms, as well as items they sell. Great place!

This was our first time in Maine so we weren't sure about the town and location to Portland and Bar Harbor. Room- perfect for our family. View- Awesome. Location - close to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Camden and Rockland. Pool, hot tub and sauna were a bonus for us as well. They have a handicap chair to put your loved one in and out of both the pool and hot tub. Our sons at night waited for the tide to go down so they could rock hunt and look for the crabs. Fireside Inn was awesome and so we're the locals! Very helpful and kind to everyone. We will be coming back but with more of our family...

Okay so I loved this place I will for sure be going back!! We booked here for 3 nights to go to a Twenty One Pilots concert in Bangor, the distance was perfect by the way! So the place is a little out dated but the hospitality was amazing, they had beach town bicycles you could use free of charge, that was a blast! The lawn down to the coast was amazing for wandering and they had chairs set up in the most perfect spots all over I sat in every spot and was extremely impressed how each spot had its own perfect angle view I’m not sure who came up with that idea but it was awesome I tried every spot just to see what magic view I would have I’m going to say bravo and well done to whoever did that!! The pool area kind of had a musty smell but it was still amazing I felt like I was in an ancient bath house ( reminded me of assassin’s creed origins) aha I loved it! Loved the fire on the upper deck, the giant chess game, lots of things to play and explore and I want to say the people of Maine are awesome just so chill, friendly and welcoming. Anything that may bother someone was washed away quick with high points.

Beautiful place. Been here twice in winter; it's a great location and has an excellent pool. Will be back.

The Fireside Inn & Suites was a wonderful place to spend a few days! You simply cannot beat the views - we spent a full day enjoying the private beach and just watching the water from the lawn. We also enjoyed spectacular sunrises and sunsets! You can tell management has put a lot of thought and care into every aspect, this is not just some corporate hotel or cheap motel — The rooms are nicely appointed, well-decorated, and they have everything you could need readily available, including a guest laundry room. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great, and we loved that there was an adults-only hour at the pool, even though we were staying at the end of the season, so there weren’t many kids (or other guests at all) anyway. We had our dogs with us, and they enjoyed their stay as well! We had a ground floor room with direct access to the back lawn, which was very convenient. There was a dog poop trash can steps outside the door, which was very convenient, and they have dog water bowls available for use as well. The hotel staff were wonderful and extremely helpful the entire time we were there. When my husband fell ill unexpectedly and was not able to travel on our original departure date, they were extremely accommodating, and helped us extend our stay an extra night, even though the room we were staying in was booked up for the extra night. They moved us into another room, and let us check in early so we could just move our stuff straight from one to the other without having to find somewhere to hang out for a few hours after checking out of our original room. We really enjoyed our stay, and if we ever find ourselves in Belfast again, we will certainly be booking the Fireside Inn & Suites again!

Great location, good amenities and value. Positives are all rooms have view of the bay; great indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna; good pet walking lawn down to bay shore; staff friendly and competent; clean rooms, some with gas fireplace; close to Belfast and 30 minutes to Camden; easy driving distance to Acadia; good seafood and Thai restaurants close; balcony and evening gas fire; free coffee; less than 1 hour to Bangor; slightly negative is per item charge for limited pre-packaged breakfast options like bagels and egg sandwiches.

Great place to stay, will definitely be back. Wish they had a breakfast but it is what it is, they have a solid pantry offering. Indoor pool and other outdoor games make it great for families and the beach is a great spot to just sit and enjoy the view. Highly recommend.

Beautiful ocean sunrise view, right from my balcony! Well kept hotel, and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to go to the pool or the hot tub. My room was clean, and quiet. I only got to stay 1 night for work, but I really enjoyed my stay here and wish I could have stayed longer!!!
